Ok if you have custom firmware i will be happy to help you find stuff.

Instant messaging on psp
first go to www.psp-homebrew.eu
then search for AFKIM
download it and extract it
place the extraction in /psp/game
start it up and there u go!

N64 emulators, GBA emulators, SNES emus, PS1 Emus, etc.
first go to
http://pspiso.com/showthread.php?t=171256

choose what you want and download it!

then get roms from www.gbxroms.com or emuparadise.org

place them in the roms folder and place the emulators in /psp/game

i do
but my mate has every single psp game downloaded so i just get him to burn em onto a cd and i put them on my memory stick so its easier that way
